On behalf of a prominent local council, Randstad is seeking experienced Community Safety Officers to join a collaborative team. Assignment durations 2–6 months. Competitive hourly rate $42–$48

Key Responsibilities

As a Community Safety Inspector, your daily routine will be dynamic and varied. You will:

  • Investigate & Administer Legislation: Interpret and enforce acts and Council By-Laws (including the Dog and Cat Management Act, Australian Road Rules, Local Nuisance and Litter Control Act, and Fire and Emergency Services Act).
  • Animal Management
  • Public Safety & Amenity: Monitor parking compliance, and oversee fire prevention assessments.
  • Customer Excellence: Proactively manage customer requests, maintain accurate digital records, take witness statements, and provide timely outcome reporting back to residents.

Requirements

To be considered for an immediate start, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Immediate Availability: You must be ready to commence employment without a standard notice period.
  • Children Check (WWCC) and a current National Police Check.
  • Driver's License: An unrestricted South Australian Driver’s License.
